Hello Mate!

Given : Width if cross roads is 5 cm

Area of rectangle EFGH = length × breadth

= EF × FG

= EF × BC

= 5 m × 175 m

= 875 m²

Area of rectangle WXYZ = XY × YZ

= CD × YZ

= 225 m × 5 m

= 1125 m²

Area of square in between ( over lapped region ) = 5² m² = 25 m²

Total area = ( 1125 + 875 - 25 ) m²

= 1975 m²

If it cost Rs 3 for 1 m²

Then, = 1975 × Rs 3 = Rs 5925

Have great future ahead!

here is your answer OK ☺☺☺☺

let ABCD be the rectangular park then EFGH and IJKL the two rectangular road with width 5 m .
length of rectangular park AD = 225m
breadth of rectangular park CD = 175.
area of rectangular park = length x breadth
225m x 175 m= 39375 m'2

then area of road EFGH = 225mx 5m = 1125m'2

area of road IJKL 175 m x 5 m = 825 m '2

clear area of MNOP is a common road two road .Thus, Area of MNOP = 5 m x 5 m = 25 m2

so....... Hence, Area of the roads = Area (EFGH) + Area (JKIL) Area (MNOP) = (1125 + 875 ) m2 25 m2 = 1975 m2
it's again given that the cost of constructing the roads = Rs. 3 per m2 Therefore, Cost of constructing 575 m2 area of the roads = Rs. (3 × 1975) = Rs. 5925
