A field is 80m long and 50m broad. IN one corner of the field, a pit which is 10m long, 7.5m broad and 8m deep has been dug out. the earth taken out of it is evenly spread over the remaining part of the field. find the rise in the level of the field

first find the area of field then find the volume of the pit then divide them you will get your answer

Area of field: 80*50=4000
remaining area= 4000-75=3925
volume of soil: 10*7.5*8=600
rise in the level of field=3925/600
