A field is in the form of a number 8. The top portion is a circle of radius 14m and the bottom portion is a circle of radius 21m. One metre of the circumference of both the circles touch each other. While going around the field, how much total distance does one have to walk leaving out the 1 metre distance?

Ans- 218 metres

Answer:

its right... look we have to run on track so we will find the perimeter of track but as question says we don't have to include that 1 metre which will be present in perimeters of both circles so 1+1=2 so we will find perimeters of both circles and subtract 2 from it

it comes as follows

132+88-2=218 m (length of path)
