Given :-

  • Diagonal (D1) = 25m
  • Diagonal (D2) = 40m
  • Rate of levelling the field is Rs.3 per m²

To find :-

  • Total cost of levelling the field.

Solution :-

  • We have length of both the diagonals of the field (rhombus).

★ Area = ½ × D1 × D2

→ Area = ½ × 25 × 40

→ Area = 25 × 20

Area = 500 m²

Area of the field is 500 m².

As given in the question that rate of levelling the field is Rs.3 per m².

Then, total cost of levelling is given by

★Total cost = Area(field) × Rate of levelling

→ Total cost = 500 × 3

Total cost = Rs.1500

Hence,

  • The total cost of levelling the field is Rs.1500. Therefore option B is correct.

Given :-

→ First Diagonal of Rhombus = 25 m

→ Second Diagonal of Rhombus = 40 m

→  Cost of leveling per m² = Rs. 3

To Find :-

→ Cost of levelling this Rhombus shaped field

Solution :-

→ As we're given to find the cost of levelling , we need to find the area of the field first .

\underline{\bf{\dag} \:\mathfrak{As\;we\;know\: that\: :}}

\star\: \boxed{\sf{\blue{Area\;of\;Rhombus\;=\frac{1}{2} \times 1^{st} Diagonal \times 2^{nd}Diagonal }}}

→ Let's find out by putting values in this formula !

\sf \implies \dfrac{1}{2} \times 25\;m \times 40\;m

\sf \implies 25\;m \times 20\;m \\

\sf \implies 500\;m^{2}

→ ATQ , Now we need to find the cost by using the unitary method

\sf \implies 1\;m^{2} = Rs. 3

\sf \implies 500\;m^{2} = 500 \times 3

\sf \implies Rs.15,00

∴ Cost of levelling this field will be Rs. 15,00
