Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

By using the formula Area of trapezium =2/1×(sum of parallel sides)×height

1586=1/2×(38+x)×26

1586=(24+x)×13

38+x=1586/13

38+x=122

x=122−38=84

∴ the length of the other parallel side is 84 cm

Answer :-

  • Measure of Second Side = 84 m

Given :-

  • Area of Trapezium Field = 1586 m²
  • Measure of One Side = 38 m
  • Distance b/w Parallel Sides (Height) = 26 m

To Find :-

  • Measure of Second Side = ?

Explanation :-

Let the Second Side of the Trapezium field to be 'x' m

As we know,

\purple { \boxed { \boxed { \bf : \implies \star \: Area \: of \: Trapezium = \dfrac{1}{2} \times Sum \: of \: Parallel \: Sides \times Height \: \star}}}

Now Substituting the values,

\sf : \: \longrightarrow \dfrac{1}{2} \times Sum \: of \: Parallel \: Sides \times Height = Area \: of \: Trapezium

\sf : \: \longrightarrow \dfrac{1}{2} \times (38 + x) \times 26 = 1586

\sf : \: \longrightarrow (38 + x) = \dfrac{1586 \times 2}{26}

\sf : \: \longrightarrow (38 + x) = 122

\sf : \: \longrightarrow x = 122 - 38

\red { \underline { \boxed { \sf : \: \longrightarrow x = 84 \: m }}}

Hence, the Measure of the other Side of the Trapezium field is 84 m.
