Let the smaller parallel side be x.

Then, the other parallel side = 2x

Height of the trapezium = 100 m

Area of the trapezium field = 10500 sq. m

We know, Area of a trapezium = 1/2 X (sum of parallel sides) X Height

Now, 10500 = 1/2 X (x + 2x) X 100

or, 10500 = 50 X 3x

or, 50 X 3x = 10500

or, 3x = 10500/50

or, 3x = 210

or, x = 210/3

or, x = 70 m

The length of the smaller parallel side = 70 m

The length of the longer parallel sie = 70 X 2 = 140 m.
