Answer:

₹ 9000

Step-by-step explanation:

l = 130 m

b = 95 m

Perimeter of rectangular field = 2(l + b)

= 2(130 + 95)

= 2(225)

= 450 m

Cost of fencing 1 m = ₹ 20

Cost of fencing 450 m = 20 × 450

= 9000

Given :-

  • Length of Rectangle = 130 m
  • Breadth of Rectangle= 95 m

To Find :-

  • Cost of Fencing at 20 rupee/m

Steps Followed :-

  • This is a Rectangle (Given)
  • So, we will simply calculate the Perimeter of the Rectangle
  • We will then multiply the perimeter by the given cost at which it has to be fenced

Solution :-

Formula Used :-

  • Perimeter = 2(length + Breadth)

⟶ 2 (130 + 95)

⟶ 2 × 225

⟶ 450

Thus, the Perimeter is 400 m².

Cost of Fencing :-

⟶ 450 ×50

⟶ 9000

Thus, Rs 9000 is the cost for fencing the field.
