A field of 80m long and 50m broad.In one corner a pit is digged with 7.5m broad ,10m long and 8m high.<br />
The earth taken out if evenly spread on the remaining part of the field .<br />
What is the rise in the level of the field.

Area of the Field=80*50=4000m²
Now volume of soil taken out=7.5*10*8=600m³
Area of the field from which we are taking soil our=10*7.5=75m²
Remaining area=4000-75=3925m²
when soil is spread on the field then
vol.of soil taken out=Area of remaining field*height to which level raised
3925*h=600
h=600/3925=0.153m
