Math, asked by raghav7714, 1 year ago

A fifth part of a swarm of bees came to rest on the flower of Kadamba, a third on the flower silinda. Three times the difference between these two numbers flew over a flower of Krutaja, abd one bee alone remained in the air, attracted by the perfume of a jasmine, in bloom.

let the number of bees=x
bees settled on a blossom of kadamba=(1/5)x
bees settled on silindhiri=(1/3)x
bees flew to the kutaja=3(1/5-1/3)x=(6/15)x
the number of bees in the swarm=x-(1/5+1/3+6/15)x=10
                                                     =x-(14/15)x=10
                                                    =(1/15)x=10
                                                        x=150
