Initially it was at 5000m. After gaining 4000m, the altitude was (5000 + 4000)m, i.e., 9000m. From the altitude of 9000m, jet came to an altitude of 2000m, therefore the net change in altitude is (9000 - 2000)m, i.e., 7000m.

Answer:

7000m

AS IN IN THE QUESTION IT SI GIVEN (A fighter jet flying at an altitude of 5000 m suddenly gains 4000m.Later it comes down to a height of 2000m to avoid detection by the enemies radar) .

SOL) 5000 m + 4000m = 9000m

        9000 m  - 2000m = 7000m

         NET ATTITUDE : ( 9000m - 2000m =)   7000

HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL
