A fighter jet flying at an altitude of 5000m suddenly gains 4000m. Later it comes to a height of 2000m to avoid detection by the enimiess radar. Find the height at which the jet is finally flying. Also find the net change in the altitude of the jet?

hey there is answer !!!

I hope you help !!!

Since it is given in the question that jet comes down to a height of 2000 m to avoid detection by the enemies radar, the final altitude of the jet is 2000 m  from the base.

Initially it was at 5000m. After gaining 4000m, the altitude was (5000 + 4000)m, i.e., 9000m.

From the altitude of 9000m, jet came to an altitude of 2000m, therefore the net change in altitude is (9000 - 2000)m, i.e., 7000m.
