Answer: A. Equivalent resistance of the circuit is 7.5 ohm.

B. Current passing through the 3 ohm resistance is = 2/3 Amp

Explanation : A. step1 : Two 2ohm resistance are parallel to each other so equivalent of these two is = 1ohm.

Step2: same for the two 1 ohm resistance so equivalent resistance of two is 0.5ohm.

Step3: two 3ohm resistance and the 1ohm and 0.5 ohm resistance are in series. So equivalent resistance is 3+3+1+0.5=7.5ohm

B. Voltage is given 5v and equivalent resistance is 7.5ohm so current passing through the entire circuit is 5/7.5=2/3Amp.

As 3ohm is in series to same current is passing through it i.e. 2/3 amp
