We know :

Area of Rectangle = L × B

= 16 sq.cm

Area of square = Area of Rectangle

Area of Square = 16 sq. cm

now,

Side of square = √Area

= √ 16 sq. cm

= 4 cm

∴ Perimeter of square = 4 × side

= 4 × 4 cm

= 16 cm

Hence, the perimeter of square is 16 cm.
