❖ Given :–

  • Area of square = Area of rectangle

  • Lenght of rectangle = 8 cm

  • Breadth of rectangle = 2 cm

❖ To Find :–

  • The Perimeter of square.

Solution :–

We know :

Area of Rectangle = L × B

= ( 2 × 8 ) sq.cm

= 16 sq.cm

Area of square = Area of Rectangle

Area of Square = 16 sq. cm

now,

Side of square = √Area

= √ 16 sq. cm

= 4 cm

∴ Perimeter of square = 4 × side

= 4 × 4 cm

= 16 cm

Hence, the perimeter of square is 16 cm.

Answer:

the length of the rectangle is 8 cm

breadth of the rectangle is to cm

area of the rectangle is =length×breath

=8 cm ×2 cm

=16 sq cm

so area of the square =16 sq cm

side of the square=area=16 cm=4 cm

perimeter of the square=4×side

=4×4=16cm
