Explanation:
Jamie was sitting in class, watching the time tick by on the clock. It was a regular day at school. Suddenly, a loud siren blared from the school speakers. "Run!!!" everyone screamed. It took a moment for Jamie to realize what was happening. A fire!! The whole class was in a frenzy. Jamie didn't realize the class slowly file out of the classroom. He was the only one left. Scared, Jamie tried to exit the class as well to catch up to his class but was caught in the middle of a huge crowd. He felt the heat of the school. Jamie knew if he did not exit soon, things were not going to go very well. He pushed his way through the crowd, and when he got to the end of the stairs, he found that it was on fire! Jamie ran the other way to the other exit of the school. It was getting hard to breathe but Jamie made this way to the exit. He pushed on the doors, but they were locked. Jamie pushed and kicked and finally the doors blasted open and Jamie felt fresh air. He joined his class as the fire alarm continud to blare.
