(a) sand as water can cause fire caused by electricity to expand. This is due to the reason that water is a conductor of electricity.

(b) hot water as it readily converts into steam, taking more energy from fire.

(c) multiple ladders as people may be trapped at different levels in a building and in different directions.

(d) crawl on floor because of the presence of various toxic gases in the air. Crawling on the floor makes us inhale less quantity of such gases.

(e) wet handkerchief as it helps in keeping the toxic gases at bay and we inhale less quantity of toxic gases.

(f) close all windows as this will cut down the supply of fresh air and stop the fire from expanding.

(g) blanket as it is comparatively thick and will cut down the supply of oxygen.
