A firm plans in advance and has a sound organisation
structure with efficient supervisory staff and control system.
On several occasion it finds that plans are not being adhered
to. It leads to confusion and duplication of work. Advise

A firm plans in advance and has a sound organisation structure with efficient supervisory staff and control system. On several occasion it finds that plans are not being adhered  to. It leads to confusion and duplication of work because in a firm, there seems to be lack of coordination among all departments. Planning and execution are going in different directions in a firm.  

 

Following remedies are to be taken by the company :

(i) Plans should be revised in the light of actual performance.

(ii) Implementation and supervision should be strengthened.

(iii) Communication system should be improved.

In this case plans are implemented properly. As the question says it has effective supervisory and control system is no problem at supervisory level and top level.
