Solution : Given,

Rate constant = 5.5 × 10⁻¹⁴ S⁻¹.

Relation between the rate constant and the half life of the reaction is,
t1/2 = 0.693/k

where,

t1/2 = half life of the reaction

k = rate constant of the reaction

Now put all the given values in the above relation, we get

t1/2 = 0.693 / 5.5 × 10⁻¹⁴

t1/2 = 1.26X 10¹³ s

Therefore, the half life of the reaction is,
=1.26X 10¹³ s

INSHAALLAH it will help you!
