The units of a reaction rate are concentration / time. This is most often M / s, where M is molarity (moles per liter) and s is time in seconds.

P.S. Don’t get M / s (molarity per second) confused with m / s (meters per second)

Answer:138.6 second

Explanation:

K= 10^-2 per second.

R°= 20

R= 5

For first order reaction,

time= 2.303/k log[R°]/[R]

T= 2.303/10^-2 log 20/5

Time= 138.6 seconds.
