Adaptabilities are the capabilities of organisms to evolute or make themeselves according to the environment.

From past millions of years fishes live in water because they are now used to it and they have evoluted their hands as fins to live in water also they develop gills to take dissolved oxygen to breathe, whereas a lizard a terrestrial animal have evoluted itself to live on land and take oxygen present in air with the helps of lungs.

It is believed that repitles have originally evoluted from pisces, so maybe many years ago it was possible to live in water for lizards but not now!

--------------------------
each organism have its own ability to survive in this nature and each organism has been given special characteristics for the same

fish ha its own abilities to survive and even lizard have some characteristics which makes them survive only in a particular environment or situations

the development of specialized organs takes place in species which make them  survive and if there is a change in climate etc genetic variation in organisms takes place which helps them to overcome this change

organisms live in different types of places due to evolution ,because of evolution the properties of animals change and they will start surviving in different environment and they get adopted to it

fish developed gills and fins , lizard lungs and legs in order to survive and move

Adaptabilities are the capabilities of organisms to evolute or make themeselves according to the environment.
