Thus the depth in the lake is 5.52 m

Option (B) is correct.

Explanation:

Sin θc =  1 / μ

tan θ = 6.3 / h

Sin  θc  = 1 / 1.33 ( 100 / 133)

tan θ = ln / √  133^2 - 100^2 6.3 / h

h = 6.3√ 133^2 - 100^2 / 100

h = 6.3 x 87.68 / 100

h = 5.52 m

Thus the depth in the lake is 5.52 m
