Given : 80% of the whale fish caught a blue fish at least once, and 60% caught a red fish at least once

10% of the whale fish never caught either a blue or red fish,

To Find : percentage of whale fishes were successful in catching at least one blue fish and at least one red fish

Solution:

 Caught Blue Fish  = 80%

 caught a red fish  =  60 %

  whale fish never caught either a blue or red fish, = 10 %

 Caught Both fish  = x

=>  100 = 80 + 60 - x + 10

=> x = 50 %
