Last week a grand book fair was organised in our school ground to motivate children in book reading.
The fair organised between 10th to 15th July was a grand success due to the joint effort of book fair organisers and students.
Almost all the leading publishers in town supported the event. Close to 10,000 people visited the book fair and books worth Rs. 50,000 were sold.

DPS Kalyanpur has always taken unique initiatives to bring knowledge and power of educational tools to their students.
In an endeavor to provide its avid reader students still another opportunity, it organized a five-day book fair, in the school premises during the summer break.
Books from well -known publishers found their place in the fair.
Children and the parents were found to pick up books on all niches i.e. informative, conversational, practice and read only books.
If all schools come forward with such exemplary fairs and workshops, children will not need to wander around searching for books to read.
They will be able to access it easily.
