A flag mounted on a flag post near the seacoast flutters in the direction of sea. At what time of the day does this happen – at midnight or in the afternoon? Why?

it happens  at night and this is because of the wind that blows from the land to the sea  on the daily basis

at midnight because during the night there is land-breeze due to which the cold air blows towards the sea.
