breadth of the floor= 7m
side of square= 0.5m
10 x 7

0.5×0.5
which equals to 280 tiles

breadth of floor= 7m
area of the floor= L x B
                         = 10 x 7
                         = 70m
now area of tile = 0.5x0.5
                         = 0.25
so, total no. of tiles required= 70/0.25
                                             =280 tiles
