Length of the floor = 10m
Breadth of the floor = 7m
Area of the floor = l X b
= 10 X 7
= 70m^2
Side of the square tile = 0.5m
Area of 1 square tile = side^2
= 0.5 X 0.5
= 0.25m^2
No.of tiles needed = Area of the floor / Area of 1 square tile
= 70 / 0.25
= 280
No.of tiles needed = 280 tiles
