paved with rhombus shaped tiles whose
diagonals are 30 cm and 40 cm. Find the
number of tiles required.

Answer:50 tiles

Area of floor = L×B

=20×15

=300m²

Area of tiles =1/2×D¹×D²

= 1/2 ×30×40

=600cm²

100cm=1m

600cm=6m

300÷6=50

=50 tiles
