The triangular tiles are of dimension 12 cm, 20 cm, 24 cm each.

We need to find the area of each tile using Heron’s formula

S = ½(12+20+24) = 28

Area = root 28(28-12)(28-20)(28-24)

         = root 28(16)(8)(4)

         = root 14336

Area = 119.73

The cost of the tiles √14 per cm²

The cost of each tile = 119.73 x root 14

                                 = 448
