Hi. Here is your Desired answer mate :)

Answer:

₹ 900

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimensions of the carpet

Width of the carpet to cover the floor with = 1m

Let the Length of the carpet to cover the floor with be x.

∵It is a rectangle.

∴Area will be=Length×Breadth

                     =1 × x m²

                     =x m²

Dimensions of the floor

Length: 10m

Breadth: 6m

∵It is a rectangle.

∴Area will be=Length×Breadth

                     =10×6 m²

                     =60 m²

Thus, the area of the floor is 60 m².

Now, to find the length of the carpet is required to cover the floor completely,

= Area of the floor ÷ Area of the carpet

=60 m² ÷ x m²

x = 60 m² ÷ m²

∴ x = 60 m

∴ Area of the carpet = 1 m × 60 m

                                  = 60 m²

∵ Cost of 1 m² carpet = ₹ 15

∴ Total cost of the carpet = ₹ (60 × 15)

                                          = ₹ (900)

                                          = ₹ 900

∴ Total cost of the carpet is ₹ 900.

Hope this helps Mate
