How many tiles will needed in all ?Also the boundary tiles need be colour black. If 1 bucket of black paint can colour 6 4/5 tiles, then find the number of bucket required ?

Answer:

Hi dear,

Here is ur solution

If

the length of the floor=72

and the width=36

so the area of the floor=72×36=2592f.square

edge length of tiles=2 1/4=5/4f

if the lentgh of tiles is =1f

then width= √[(5/4)square - 1]

=√[25/16 -1]

=√[(25-16)/16]

=√[9/16]

=3/4f

so the area of tiles= 1×3/4=3/4f.square

then the number of tiles =2592÷3/5=3456

Number of tiles is =3456= ans1

The boundary tiles-

in length of both side the num of tiles is=(72+72)/1=144

and in width={(36-3/4)+(36-3/4)}÷3/4 =(141/2)÷(3/4)=94

Total num of boundary tiles is=144+94=238

paint buckets

if 1 bucket can colour =6 4/5 tiles=34/5

num of tiles to be coloured =210

so the num of paint buckets to be needed=

238÷34/5=35

so the num of paint bucket = 35ans2

I hope it will help u

if yes so add me as brainliet answer

-Thanks
