Answer:

Given:-

length=10m

breath=6m

side of square tile=0.5m

Area of floor= L×B

=10×6

=60 sq metre

Area of a square tile =side×side

=0.5x0.5

=0.25 sq metre

number of tiles required=area of floor÷area of a tile.

=60÷0.25

=240 tiles

no. of tiles required=240 tiles

area of the rectangle = L × B

area of rectangle= 10×6

= 60 m^2

=> 0.5 × 60

=> 30.0

hence, here 30 tiles are required to cover the floor of the room
