A floor is 15 m long and 9 m wide. A square carpet of side 7 m is laid on the
floor. Find the area that is not carpeted.

Floor Area : 15x9 = 135

Area of Carpet (area that carpeted) = 7x7 = 49

Area that is not carpeted = 135-49 = 86 m^2
