Length of the floor= 6 metres
Width of the floor= 3 meters
Total Area of the floor= 6*3= 18 metres square
Side of the square carpet= 2 meters
Area of the carpet= 2*2= 4 meters square
Now on subtracting, we get 18-4= 14 metres square.
ANS= The are of the floor that is uncarpeted is 14 metres^2
HOPE THIS HELPS.
