A floor is 6m long and 5m wide. A square carpet of sides 3m is laid on the floor. Find the area of the floor that is not carpeted?

Step-by-step explanation:

Total area=length×breadth

=6*5

=30sq.m

Area of carpet =side*side

=3×3

=9 sq.m

Remaining area of the room =30-9

=21 sq.m
