lateral surface area = 2(l+b)h or 2h(l+b)

it can be seen that perimeter is included in the lateral surface area in this case.

so,

area of walls = 2(l+b)h

= 236m × 4.5m

= 1062m²


Cost per m² = Rs 8.40

Cost for 1062m² = 1062 × 8.40

= Rs 8920.8
