A floor of a room 5 mx 4 m is to be covered with tiles. Find the number of tiles required for it,
the dimensions of one dile is 20 cm x 10 cm. Also find the cost of the floor, if one tile cost 15.00

Answer: The no. of tiles are 1000.

The cost of the floor is rupees 15000.

Step by step : 5m x 4m / 20cm x 10cm

⇒ 500cm x 400cm / 20cm x 10cm

= 1000

1000 x 15 rupees = 15000 rupees
