Room Length : 8m = 8×100 = 800 cm
Room Breadth : 5m = 5×100 = 500 cm

= Area : L×B
(800×500) cm Square = 400000 cm Square

Tiles Length : 10 cm
Tiles Breadth : 8 cm

= Area : L×B
(10×8) cm Square = 80 cm Square

Number of Tiles : Area of Room / Area of Tiles

= No. of Tiles : (400000 / 80) cm Square
No. of Tiles : 5000

The Required Number of Tiles is 5000 -: ANSWER

Area of tiles= l*b
=10*8 cm
80 cm square
Area of tile in metres = 80 cm= 0.8 m
Area of floor=8*5 m
40 metre square
Number of tiles= Area of floor / Area of tiles
40/0.8 m= 50 tiles
Number of tiles= 50 tiles
