A floor of breadth 25m and length 100m is needed to be tiled with side of squared tile is 5m. How many tiles are required to tile the floor?

Answer

Area of rectangular floor = length × bredth

= 100 × 25

Area of rectangular floor= 2500m^2

Now,

Area of squared tile = side ^2

= 5^2

Area of squared tile = 25 m^2

No of tiles = Area of rectangular floor/Area of tile

100 tiles are required to tile the floor
