Base of Parallelogram = 40m = 4000cm

Height of Parallelogram = 27m = 2700cm

Area of floor = Area if Parallelogram

                     = 4000 x 2700

                     = 10800000cm²

Now no. tiles = Area if Parallelogram ÷ Area of one tile

                      = 10800000 ÷ 240

                      =45,000
