A floor tile has a shape of a parallelogram whose base is 24cm and the corresponding height is 10cm. How many such tiles are required to cover a floor of 15360 sq.cm

here height h =10cm

base b =24cm

area of two right angle triangle 2*((1/2)bh)

ie b*h

here "b" will be 14 in both triangles so the area will be 10*14=140cm^2

area of square will be 100cm^2 because  one side of square is 10cm

total area is 140+100=240cm^2

number of tile required to cover the floor = 15360/240

 answer is  64
