A flooring tile is in the shape of parallelogram and having base 12cm and corresponding height is 8cm . How many such tiles required to cover the dimensions 16cm* 9cm.

area of parallelogram tiles=bh = 12x8=

Area of Parallelogram=1600x900

=144oooo Cm2

No. of tiles required=1440000/96

= 15000 tiles
