tile is in the shape of parallelogram,
area of parallelogram
=1/2 X base X height
=1/2 X 12 X 8
=48cm^2
area of floor
= base X height
=16 X 9
=144 m. sq.= 14400 cm.sq.
tiles required=
14400/48= 300
this is now what im getting
The one that i did before,
tiles required =
area of floor/area of tile
=160 x 90/12 x 8
=150 tiles
