Find the area of 1 tile:

Area of  parallelogram = base x height

area of 1 tile = 5 x 3 = 15 cm²

Find the area of 280 tiles:

1 tile = 15 cm²

280 tiles = 15 x 280 = 4200 cm²

Find the cost:

1 cm² = Rs 1.50

4200 cm² = 4200 x 1.5 = Rs 6300

Answer: It will cost Rs 6300.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of  parallelogram = base x height

area of 1 tile = 5 x 3 = 15 cm²

Now  Find the area of 280 tiles

1 tile = 15 cm²

280 tiles = 15 x 280 = 4200 cm²

Now Find the cost:

1 cm² = Rs 50

4200 x 50 =  210,000 Rs

Hence the cost of polishing the deign at the rate of 50 Rs per cm^2  is 210,000.
