A florist has to make a floral arrangement. She has 6 Banksias, 5 wattles and 4 Waratahs. All the flowers of each kind are different. In how many ways can the florist make a bunch of 10 flowers if she has to use at least 3 of each kind ? SHOW ALL WORKING!

atleast 3 from each type so 9 flowers will be selected in below number of ways

6C3 × 5C3 × 4C3

= 20 × 10 × 4

= 800 ways

now one more flower to be selected from remaining 3 + 2 + 1 = 6 flowers

so 6C1 = 6 ways

total number of ways = 800 × 6 = 4800

florist can make a bunch of 10 flowers in 4800 ways if she has to use at least 3 of each kind
