2x+3=x+15

Step 1: Subtract x from both sides.

2x+3−x=x+15−x

x+3=15

Step 2: Subtract 3 from both sides.

x+3−3=15−3

x=12

Answer:

Solution :-

Let CP of bouquet is Rs. 100x .

So,

→ MP = 15% over CP = (115 * 100x)/100 = Rs. 115x .

now,

→ MP = Rs. 115x

→ Discount = 5%

→ SP = MP * (100 - Discount %)/100 = (115x * 95)/100 = Rs. 109.25x

then,

→ Profit = SP - CP = 109.25x - 100x = Rs. 9.25x

therefore,

→ Profit % = Profit * 100 / CP = (9.25x * 100)/100x = 9.25% (a) (Ans.)

Hence, his profit percentage is equal to 9.25 .
