A flyover is 500m long. A 10 m long bus crosses the flyover at a speed of 30m/s find the time taken by the bus to cross it?

Length of flyover = 500 m
Length = 10  m
So, total distance = 500+10 = 510 m
Now, 
       speed of the bus = 30 m/s
       distance = 510 m
So, time taken by bus to cross it = distance / speed of bus
                                                    =  510/30 
                                                    =  17 seconds
Hence the time taken by the bus to cross the bridge is 17 seconds.
