A Flyover is 500m long. A 10m long bus crosses the flyover at a speed of 30m/s. Find the time taken by the bus to cross it.

Given that,

Length of flyover = 500m

Length of bus = 10m

Hence the total distance of flyover and bus (D) = 500 + 10 = 510m   ……..(1)

Speed of Bus (S) = 30 m/s    ……..(2)

We know that,

From equations (1), (2) and (3) we get –

30=\frac{510}{T}
