Answer:

  • 3.20 metres.

Explanation:

Given:-

  • Frequency , f = 93.5 MHz

  • Speed of radio wave ,v = 3×10⁸ m/s

To Find:-

  • Wavelength of the radio wave ,λ

Solution:-

Firstly we convert the unit here .

93.5 MHz into scientific notation

→ 9.35 × 10⁷cycles/sec

Now, we know that the speed of wave is defined as the product of frequency & wavelength.

v =f λ

where,

  • v denotes speed of wave
  • f denotes frequency
  • λ denotes wavelength

Substitute the value we get

→ λ = v/f

→ λ = 3×10⁸/9.35×10⁷

→ λ = 30/9.35

→ λ = 3.20 m

  • Hence, the wavelength of the radio wave is 3.20 metres.

Answer:

Given :-

  • Frequency = 93.5 mhz
  • Speed of radio = 3 × 10⁸ m/s

To Find :-

Wavelength of radio

Solution :-

Conversion of unit

 \tt \: 93.5  \longrightarrow \: 9.35 \times  {10}^{7}

 \huge \bf \pink{ \lambda \:  =  \frac{v}{f}}

Here

λ = Wave length

V = Speed of radio

F = Frequency

 \tt \lambda \:  =  \dfrac{9.35 \times 10 {}^{7} }{3 \times 10 {}^{8} }

 \tt \lambda \:  = \dfrac{30}{9.35}

 \tt \lambda \:  = 3.20 \: m

Therefore :-

Wavelength of radio is 3.20 m.
