Given :-

Time taken to reach the ground = 10 sec

Velocity with which it touches ground = 50 m/s

To Find :-

The acceleration = ?

Analysis :-

Here we are given with the time and final velocity applied.

In order to find the acceleration, substitute the values accordingly in the formula of first equation of motion.

Solution :-

We know that,

  • t = Time
  • v = Final velocity
  • u = Initial velocity
  • a = Acceleration

Using the formula,

\underline{\boxed{\sf First \ equation \ of \ motion=v=u+at}}

Given that,

Final velocity (v) = 50 m/s

Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Time (t) = 10 sec

Substituting their values,

⇒ 50 = 0 + (a) 10

⇒ a = v + u / t

⇒ a = 50 + 0 / 10

⇒ a = 50 / 10

⇒ a = 5 m/s

Therefore, the acceleration is 5 m/s.

Answer:

5 m/s²

Explanation:

\underline{\bigstar\:\textsf{Given:}}

  • Time (t) = 10 s
  • Final velocity (v) = 50 m/s
  • Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

\underline{\bigstar\:\textsf{To\:find:}}

  • Acceleration (a) = ?

\underline{\bigstar\:\textsf{Solution:}}

We remember our 1st equation of motion i.e, \blue{\sf{v\:=\:u\:+\:at}}

\implies 50 = 0 + a × 10

\implies 50 = a × 10

\implies\:\sf{\dfrac{50}{10}\:=\:a}

\implies 5 = a

{\large{\boxed{\sf{\therefore \: Acceleration\:is\:5\:m/s^2}}}}

Hope it helped you dear...
