is rising steadily at 2 ms–1. The food packet falls on

the ground after 6s. Find the height of the helicop-

ter when

(i) the food packet was released from it

(ii) when the food packet just reached the earth

Explanation:

the food packet has an initial velocity of 2 m/s in upward direction, therefore

v=-u+gt or

v=-2+10*2=18 m/s
