A football and an iron ball of the same size but different mass are allowed to fall under
gravity from the same height at the same time. Ignore the drag force due to the air, which
will reach the earth surface earlier. Explain with mathematical equations. If the
drag force is considerable, which one will take more time to reach the surface?

Answer:
Explanation:
Yes, the balls will starts rolling in the direction in which the train was moving. Due to the application of the brakes, the train comes to rest but due to inertia the balls try to remain in motion, therefore they begin to roll. Since the mass of the balls are not same, therefore , the inertia of iron ball is greater than rubber ball due to mass. Thus, the rubber ball will move fast.
